EQUATE Supported Local Market Growth by Over 450% in 17 Years

Demand Growth Exceeded 55% in Five Years

Kuwait - EQUATE Petrochemical Company, Kuwait's first international joint-venture in this industry, said that it supplied over 450,000 tons of Polyethylene (PE) to Kuwaiti plastic manufacturers throughout 17 years during 1998 to 2015.

During a gathering for local customers, EQUATE President & CEO Mohammad Husain said, "Our local customers represent key stakeholders in reflecting our 'Partners in Success' slogan through a culture of innovation and continuous collaboration. From 1998 to 2015, the annual production of Made in Kuwait plastics has increased by over 450%. All of these facts and figures prove the significant contribution of the local plastic industry, supported by the petrochemical sector, to ensure the diversification and advancement of the Kuwaiti economy."
