Cairo: State-run Egyptian Arab Land Bank (EALB) announced that its personal loans portfolio has increased to 720 million Egyptian pounds, according to Amr Gadallah the bank’s Vice Chairman

He further told Amwal Al Ghad that his bank is aiming at increasing the portfolio to 3 billion pounds by the end of the current year up from 2 billion pounds.

The bank’s total customer deposits rose to 48 billion pounds, while total customer loans amounted to more than 13 billion pounds.

The bank has also achieved profit before taxes of 500 million pounds during the current year and seeks to reach 850 million pounds by the end of June 2020. Source: Amwal Alghad
