Dubai – A delegation from the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA) marked World Cancer Day (February 4) with a visit to children receiving cancer treatment at Dubai Hospital, where participants sought to spread positivity and happiness among the young patients receiving treatment at the facility.

Headed by the MFNCA’s Undersecretary His Excellency Tariq Hilal Lootah, the delegation included several heads of departments, officials, and employees from the Ministry. The visit reflected the MFNCA’s commitment to promoting its values and social responsibility efforts among its staff, building bridges connecting all members and segments of the community.

“The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs is dedicated to embedding authentic Emirati values among its employees,” H.E. Lootah said. “This visit embodies the Ministry’s commitment, through all of our initiatives, to double down on our moral ideals of solidarity, communication with all segments of the community, and strengthening social bonds.”

“This visit was important to us as we sought to provide moral and emotional support for children battling cancer, and to put a smile on their faces,” H.E. added. “We were happy to learn that the patients were well taken care of, availing the best possible treatment under constant supervision from a professional staff.”

The visiting delegates toured the children’s rooms to check up on their health, offer them the support they need, spread happiness among them, and wish them a swift recovery.
