Dubai/Abuja/Houston - CHEMIE TECH, has been awarded an Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning contract from M/s Azikel Petroleum Ltd. Nigeria for the Azikel Hydro-skimming modular 12,000 barrels per day Refinery located in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State in Nigeria.

The scope of the contract involves but not limited to overall single point responsibility, Project Management, Residual Process Engineering, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Installation, Construction, Testing and Pre-commissioning, Commissioning & PGTR of the Refinery Project on LSTK basis.

This follows CHEMIE TECH’s successful completion of the front-end engineering design (FEED) of OSBL, having worked with Azikel Petroleum on the project since 2018 as well as the refinery project early works. The Refinery will process feed from the Gharan-Ubie facility and comprise of Crude Distillation & Debutanizer Unit, Naphtha Hydrotreater Unit, Naphtha Splitter Unit, Catalytic Reformer Unit, Gasoline Stabilizer Unit, Fuel Gas System-Caustic Treaters, Hydrogen Storage Unit, Steam System, Flare system, Power Plant and offsite & utilities including storage facility of Refinery Complex to produce product Diesel, PMS, AGO, Fuel Oil, Fuel Gas, Naphtha. The Reformer Unit design is licensed to Azikel Petroleum by Honeywell UOP.
