Boursa Kuwait opens Tuesday in decline

Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s trading session with a massive decrease, as the All-Share, Main, and Premier markets retreated by 0.28%, 0.4%, and 0.22%, respectively.

By 10:55 am Kuwait time, the telecom sector led the decliners with 1.7%, while the basic materials segment topped the gainers with 0.69%.

Ooredoo Kuwait led the losers with 8.8%, while Gulf North Africa Holding headed the winners with 5.6%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 600,000 after 5 million shares were exchanged through 205 transactions.

National Industries Group recorded the highest liquidity of around KWD 180,800. The stock went down 3.8%.

Kuwait Real Estate was the most active stock on which 1.73 million shares were traded. The stock reached 46.5 fils.
