Bahrain-Russia agree to cooperate in aluminium industry

The two sides agreed on co-operation in research and development of new products

A protocol of co-operation in the aluminium industry has been signed between Bahrain and Russia. 

This was announced by the Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry which said the signing follows the fifth meeting of the Bahraini-Russian Working Group. 

The Russian delegation was led by Industry and Trade Deputy Minister Sergey Tsyb and the Bahraini delegation was led by Under-Secretary of Industry Affairs Osama Al Arrayedh. 

The meeting saw discussions on the prospects of marketing, information exchange and logistics co-ordination through the participation of Bahraini industrial and technology enterprises in Russia. 

The two sides also agreed on co-operation in research and development of new products, as well as the exchange of experiences and training.
