LONDON- The African Export-Import Bank has finalised a $3.9 billion support package for Egyptian institutions, it said in a statement on Thursday.

The package includes $3.55 billion for the Central Bank of Egypt and other Egyptian banks to help manage the impact of COVID-19 on the country, it said.

It also includes $300 million to the National Bank of Egypt to bolster activities aimed at expanding intra-African trade.
