Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC), one of the leading regional multi-line insurance providers for corporates and individuals, is now providing health insurance plans and products for registered entities based at Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), the international financial centre (IFC) located in Abu Dhabi.

This development will allow ADGM registered entities to benefit from simplified health insurance issuance by utilising the IFC’s flagship ACCESSADGM portal and eliminating the need to submit individual application forms or medical history records. The new process will reduce difficulties associated with issuing health insurance and ensures the delivery of a seamless and enhanced customer journey experience.

Ahmad Idris, Chief Executive Officer at ADNIC, said: “We are delighted for the opportunity to provide ADGM registered entities with access to our exclusive health insurance plans. By having simplified health insurance solutions available for tenants at the international financial centre, we are helping ADGM with its objective to build a supportive and attractive global business ecosystem in the heart of Abu Dhabi.”

Dhaher Bin Dhaher Al Muhairi, CEO of ADGM Registration Authority said: “ADGM’s business model as an international financial centre is anchored in its ability to provide stakeholders and registered entities with access to world-class services. The inclusion of ADNIC’s innovative insurance solutions to our ACCESSADGM platform serves as further testament to this commitment as we look to streamline service delivery and allow our registered entities to place greater focus on meeting their business objectives.”

Since its inception, ADGM has reinforced Abu Dhabi’s position as a global trade and business hub by serving as a strategic link between the growing economies of the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and the rest of the world. The IFC offers businesses opportunities to grow and scale in a supportive business environment.

This initiative is part of ADNIC’s continuous efforts to support businesses in the region with innovative insurance solutions.
