Andra Public Relations in partnership with the Capital Club Bahrain hosted the 2nd Edition of the FinTech series “AI, RPA & MACHINE LEARNING IMPACTS ON THE FINANCIAL SECTOR” 40 attendees were present during the event from various financial institutions, industries, and university students as well.
Speakers of the event included Ahmed Naeemi - Head of Digital Transformation, Operations and Project Management, BIBF. Ahmed has over 20 years of experience in IT Management and he currently leads BIBF’s IT & Project Management Learning Centre. As part of his management role, he has lead various learning initiatives in the areas of IT such as the introduction of training programmes on Blockchain, Digital Transformation, FinTech, Cyber Security and Cloud Computing. The second speaker, Shanthini Raja - Founder and Chief Executive of Rsquare Technologies; has a Master’s in Computer Applications, 23 years experienced in Software designing and Development, Women in fintech committee member, Business women society member, and Former ICT committee member of Bahrain chamber of Commerce.
Ahmed Naeemi spoke about the future of education highlighting the rapidly changing ecosystem, the necessary steps and measures that need to be taken, and what Bahrain’s future initiatives will be focused on to create the future leaders of tomorrow. Shanthini Raja shared an in-depth presentation on AI, RPA and Machine Learning in the Financial Sectors due to 23 years of experience in creating custom innovative products, and automation software to serve the industry’s needs in the digital era.
About the Fintech Series
The Fintech Series will be hosting corporates and startups from Bahrain’s Fintech space, and MENA. The aim of this initiative goes towards supporting the fintech ecosystem growth in Bahrain, and provide an engaging platform for Fintech industry leaders to share their stories,and address the most pressing issues, trends in the FinTech sector. The new monthly event will focus on various Fintech innovations and themes that will shape different industries and sectors within the region. This includes a special focus on developments in regtech, money transfer, blockchain, and more.
In the future, the series will be documented creating a Fintech channel that will be accessible to everyone. The Fintech series will build a compilation of insights and also serve as a learning tool for prospective Fintech enthusiasts, and entrepreneurs.
