ArabFinance: US infrastructure giant Bechtel plans to expand its business in Egypt, according to a cabinet statement on May 9th.

The announcement took place during the meeting between the President of Bechtels infrastructure global business unit Shaun Kenny and Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly.

The American construction company eyes joining the countrys megaprojects, including managing new cities.

Bechtel is also expected to lead the planned construction of Cairo Metro Line 6.
