Amman, Jordan: Umniah has signed a cooperation agreement with “Altibbi”, the largest and most comprehensive digital health platform for the Arab world. The platform, which provides reliable medical content by accredited physicians, will now be accessible to Umniah subscribers through “umnicoin”. Subscribers can exchange their credit from the loyalty program for online medical consultations at any time and from anywhere.

Umniah CEO Ziad Shatara spoke of this exciting new partnership with Altibbi, the leader in its field in the Arab world, saying that now more than ever, in the shadow of the coronavirus pandemic, access to medical care and information has never been more essential. By using the platform’s virtual consultation feature, patients get expert opinions, which will help reduce the need for office visits, thus alleviating the burden on the medical health system.

Umniah subscribers can now exchange their umnicoin balances in return for access to a number of Altibbi services, including immediate medical consultations provided by certified physician via high-definition video calls, texts or voice chats, at any time of the day or night. The platform stores all patient records securely and confidentially, and also provides its users with the largest comprehensive Arabic medical content available on the Internet.

Altibbi CEO and founder Jalil Labadi said, “Our partnership with Umniah will enable more Jordanians to access virtual medical consultations within minutes. Today, through our platform, a team of highly experienced physicians is ready to provide consultations, nation-wide, including consultations related to coronavirus.” Labadi went on to explain that telemedicine has become an indispensable global tool, providing medical care within minutes from the comfort of a patient’s home at any time thus alleviating the burden on medical centers.

Altibbi is the first platform in the Arab world to provide a remote medical consultation services, allowing patients to communicate with accredited physicians directly through telephone calls or text chat. Altibbi has also translated more than one million pages of medical content into Arabic in order to provide reliable medical information.
