At the meeting, led by the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ghazi Wazni, the launch of an electronic platform for organizing trading between money changers was discussed.

Additionally, the meeting focused on ways to pump liquidity into banks and appropriate steps to be taken for ensuring monetary stability.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Zeina Akar, the Minister of the Economy, Raoul Nehme, and the Minister of Information, Manal Abdel Samad.

The Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, Dr. Wassim Mansouri, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, Director for the General Directorate of General Security, Salim Sfeir, the President of the Association of Banks in Lebanon, and the Vice President of the Syndicate of Money Changers, Mahmoud Halawi, also attended.
