Suncast will participate in "Expo Dubai - Commercial Mission for Clean Energies", which will take place from October 3 to 8 of this year, and later will be part of the WETEX fair and the Dubai Solar Show, with the aim of exploring possibilities of entering the new markets, getting new clients, potential alliances and investment rounds.

Suncast is a company present in Chile and Mexico, which applies artificial intelligence to renewable energies completely remotely. Currently, it has two services: Generation Prediction and Predictive Maintenance.

The first is applied to solar and wind energy sources through high-accuracy models to predict generation up to 10 days in advance, and with an accuracy greater than 60% than with other systems. These use the latest Machine Learning technology, consider the meteorological conditions and the historical generation. In addition, it adapts to the current regulations in each country, and to the needs of each client.

For its part, Predictive Maintenance consists of optimization models that indicate the optimal moment to clean and maintain photovoltaic panels and wind farms, a process that considers up to 40% of production costs. In this way, Suncast provides a platform in which the customer can see economic losses as a result of dirt levels and know the optimal time to perform cleaning, saving up to 50% in resources and costs.

Constanza Levicán, CEO of Suncast and Director of Climatech, the association of startups focused on the technological solution of environmental problems, “Suncast's participation in this event reflects the internationalization work that we have pushed through our expansion strategy. As of today, Suncast is a company that has a presence in Chile and Mexico, and the growth potential is very attractive as part of the global energy transition, where renewable energy sources are protagonists ”.

Founded in Chile in 2017, Suncast has commercial agreements with companies such as Revergy, the first customer in the Small Medium Distributed Generation (PMGD) segment; in addition to a service provision agreement for Acciona. Also, it is the first Latin American startup to sign an agreement with the Swiss-Swedish company ABB to incorporate its predictive models into the multinational's projects in Chile and Latin America.

This is the first time that Suncast participates in the event that brings together the best of each country. However, it is not the first time that the company has participated in events of international stature. In March 2021, Suncast was one of the 40 technology startups selected globally, and the first and only Latin American to participate in the Industry Growth Forum NREL 2021 in the United States. The startup also represented Chile at the World Youth Forum of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) at the APEC World Summit for women founders of tech startups. Suncast also participated in the Pitch Session Deeptech Soft Landing Week in Germany, where it won first place.

The trade mission in which Suncast will participate will take place within the framework of the Expo's Climate and Biodiversity Week, in addition to WETEX and the Dubai Solar Show, to which representatives from 180 countries are invited.

Climate and Biodiversity Week will consist of two main events. The first will be “Lines of action towards Carbon Neutrality”, which is scheduled to take place on October 3; while the second will be on "Chile's route to the most competitive Green Hydrogen in the world", which will take place on October 4. For the second date, the CEO of Suncast will be a participant in the discussion to be held in the Chilean pavilion.

For EXPO DUBAI, in addition to having the objective of generating new clients in the countries where the startup already operates, it will seek to enter new markets such as Germany, Spain, Colombia and the Middle East. In this way, it is a commercial mission to raise financing rounds, seek new strategic allies and clients.

For its part, the WETEX Fair and the Dubai Solar Show will show the latest technological advances to discuss the latest trends related to energy, water conservation, saving natural resources and building a sustainable environment, and in where the Chilean institution in charge of the Chilean trade mission, ProChile, will have a Meeting Point.
