Sharjah: Sharjah Civil Defence signed an agreement with Sahab Smart Solutions (Sahab) recently to develop an advanced digital platform that will offer individuals and corporates secure and easy access to the entire gamut of services offered by the department.

Managed by Sahab, this digital user interface powered by latest technologies will feature a fully integrated website as well as a smart application enabling the Sharjah government entity to transform its operations and services completely digital in its pursuit of offering seamless customer service. An e-customer relationship management system will also be developed as part of this digital platform to enable the department’s staff to achieve the best results in their daily handling of clients.

The agreement was signed by Colonel Sami Khamis Al Naqbi, Director General of Sharjah Civil Defence, and Amin Al Zarouni, CEO of Sahab, in the presence of HE Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Member of the Executive Council of Sharjah and Executive Chairman of the Department of Government Relations; Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi; and other officials.

Colonel Sami Khamis Al Naqbi, Director General of Sharjah Civil Defence, said that the partnership with Sahab furthers Sharjah government’s ambitions to provide smart services to citizens and residents, while advancing the department’s mission to transform their internal operations and user interfaces in a way that enhances customer happiness. Adding that the entity’s digital transformation will ensure Sharjah Civil Defence’s clients seamless, round-the-clock access to their services, Colonel Al Naqbi emphasised that this collaboration was an important milestone in Sharjah’s smart-gov strategy.
