Serco’s participation in the job fair, which will be held from 19-21 March at the Dubai World Trade Centre, also reaffirms its dedication to support the UAE Government’s Emiratisation program as a Platinum Partner with Tawteen.

Serco has made it a priority to pursue the Emiratisation policy by continuously discovering, recruiting and training local talents for its UAE offices. At the upcoming Careers UAE 2019, representatives from the company will be available to showcase the dynamic work undertaken in the communities and societies. Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to understand the various development programs the company offers to UAE national employees; such as Al Masar (The Journey), Fursati (My Opportunity), and Qudrati (My Ability).

Serco aims to hire at least 30 UAE nationals in 2019 in both full time and part time roles as Customer Service Agents for Dubai Metro which is operated by Serco. The Customer Service Agent position is a critical role in RTA’s commitment for Dubai Metro to deliver world class service, with a focus on safety and quality. At the fair, interested delegates will be invited to assessments and interviews, with the aim of identifying successful candidates to join our team.

“Emiratization is a vital priority for Serco in its transport sector, and with a platform such as Careers UAE; it has created a great source to discover talented nationals. At the stand, we will be conducting immediate screening, application submission and various initiatives to get in touch with potential candidates. By making a difference every day, our objective is to be recognized as an employer of choice for Nationals.” Alex Rentier – Managing Director Metro and Tram, Serco.

Abdul Mohisn Ibrahim Younes, CEO, Rail Agency at the RTA added: “Nationalization of the UAE workforce continues to be a priority to all government and private sectors alike. Everyone should consider investing in employing, training and developing nationals and Serco has always supported this ethos. As our long-term partner, we are looking forward to working with the Serco HR team to attract educated and ambitious young Emiratis.”
