Muscat: As part of its endeavour to provide customers with only the very best financial solutions and banking experiences, Oman Arab Bank (OAB) has launched its newly renovated branch at Boulevard Boutique Mall, in Shatti Al Qurum. The new customer-focused branch provides more space, better accessibility and enhanced banking services.

The official opening ceremony of the branch took place on Tuesday, June 25, under the auspices of Sheikh Ali Bin Hamed Al Kalbani, Chairman of the Al Kalbani Group, and was overseen by the Bank’s CEO, Rashad Al Musafir.

Commenting on the reopening of the new branch, Rashad Al Musafir stated, “Investing in retail banking with a focus on customer-centric innovations is key to our ongoing Bank transformation strategy. Each of our newly renovated branches is clearly in line with this strategy, having been carefully designed with the customers’ needs in mind.”

As with all renovated OAB branches, the new Shatti Branch in Boulevard Boutique Mall also features an enhanced brand identity with a refreshed look and feel. It’s sleek, modern design is enhanced by a number of features and systems introduced as part of the transformation process. This includes a meet and greet facility, similar to the ones introduced with the flagship branches, a streamlined queuing system, private advisory spaces with moving monitor screens for more personalised interactions, digital signature pads, and ID card readers.

As with the other newly renovated branches, the Shatti branch takes its design inspiration from the ‘Omani Skyline’, wherein the white symbolises Omani architecture, browns denote the desert sands, grey referencing the mountains, and the overhanging blue glass represents the sky.

“With each transformed branch we launch, we continue to demonstrate our commitment to meeting the banking needs of our customers, taking us one step closer to our ultimate goal of being the bank of choice for customers across the country,” added Fahd Amjad, General Manager of the Retail Banking Group at OAB.

This new branch is designed to be a full service branch that operates from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, Sunday through Thursday. Furthermore, the new branch also provides ‘Elite’ services to grant premium customers with a memorable tailored experience. The branch transformation combines form and function and aims to elevate the customer experience as a whole.

Oman Arab Bank has a rich and proud history as one of the first financial institutions to be established in the Sultanate. Today, the bank operates a nationwide network of 65 branches and representative offices and 152 ATMs spread across Oman. OAB provides a complete range of financial products and services for personal banking, corporate banking and investment clients.
