Dubai: The vast potential of the metaverse, an expansive network of persistent, real-time rendered 3D worlds and simulations, was underlined at the 4th edition of the Future Blockchain Summit at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), as Metahero unveiled the global launch of its v3 Metascanner, a cutting-edge technology billed as the world’s most advanced 3D scanner.

The technology, developed in partnership with Wolf Studio, can scan any person or real-world object to be used in the digital world or video games via the Hero token and special 3D chambers.

In a special presentation, which was cast live to the world from DWTC as part of GITEX Global, the world’s largest technology showcase this year, Metahero CEO Robert Gryn said: “This is the future, the gateway to the metaverse, which will be the biggest thing mankind has ever seen. The Metascanner is the bridge between the physical and digital. Through the most advanced 3D scanner in the world we will engage with those who may not even care about crypto, and we are talking billions on social media and gaming.”

Metahero announced plans for 24 of its world-first 3D chambers at 24 locations across the globe.

Future Blockchain Summit is part of GITEX Global, which runs at DWTC until 21 October, and unites international innovators in artificial intelligence, 5G, cloud, big data, cybersecurity, Blockchain, quantum computing, fintech and immersive marketing across six events: GITEX Global, Ai Everything, GITEX Future Stars, the Future Blockchain Summit, Fintech Surge and Marketing Mania.
