Medcare Women & Children Hospital is now offering both residents and tourists a standalone Covid-19 screening tent in order to test as many people as possible and provide the community with exceptional medical care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As a cornerstone of the healthcare sector in the country, this new standalone testing facility continues to build on Medcare’s legacy of providing the community with the highest standard of healthcare and will aid in alleviating the heavy strain of Covid-19 testing in the city.

Medcare Women & Children Hospital has thus far responded to the pandemic in a dynamic way, offering 24/7 testing and the highest standard of treatment where needed. It aims to provide the utmost care and exceptional service for both Dubai residents and tourists in the city as Medcare continues to work with the directives of government to prioritise the health and safety of the entire community.

Those in need of a Covid-19 test are required to register on www.medcare.ae and will then be able to select an appointment date and time at their convenience. Confirmation will be sent via text message and upon arrival for their appointment at the Covid-19 screening centre, those being tested will be assisted quicky and efficiently by staff members who have received the Covid-19 vaccination, in order to ensure the safety of the patients and to help contain the spread of the virus.

‘Medcare continues to play an extremely important role in ensuring that the people of Dubai have access to safe and conveniently-located medical testing and treatment facilities,’ says Dr Shamsa Abdulla bin Hammad, Chief Operating Officer of Medcare Women & Children Hospital. ‘We have worked hard to help curb the spread of Covid-19 around the city during the pandemic by offering dedicated Covid-19 screening facilities that are open 24/7, as well seeing that all safety measures are met and exceeded, including ensuring that our staff working in these facilities have received the covid-19 vaccination. People are at the forefront of our business and we have stepped up in these trying times in an effort to build on our legacy and keep our medical front liners people-focused, continuing to prioritise the wellness of the entire community.’

The standalone screening centre located at Medcare Women & Children’s Hospital along Sheikh Zayed Road, is Medcare’s second Covid-19 independent screening facility, with the first located at Medcare Al Safa, which is also open 24/7.
