Promotion sees Majid Al Futtaim partner once again with Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishments (DFRE) to bring even more value to shoppers

Dubai, UAE: Majid Al Futtaim’s Dubai shopping malls, in partnership with Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishments (DFRE), are giving customers the chance to win one of eight Modesh Scholarships worth AED 25,000. Whether in school or university, undertaking an online course, or hoping to enrol in an institute or academy, the scholarship offers learners — parents, children, and young professionals — the ease of a smooth learning experience while aligning with the government’s vision to support youth.

Until 18 August, Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, City Centre Deira, City Centre Me’aisem, City Centre Al Shindagha, and My City Centre Al Barsha will be exclusively accepting entries to the competition.

To take part, shoppers need to download the SHARE application, activate the Modesh Scholarship under the “offers” tab, and spend a total of AED 250 at any of Majid Al Futtaim’s shopping malls in Dubai. Once shoppers have scanned their receipts using the app, they will automatically be entered into the prize draw. The eight lucky Modesh Scholarship winners will be announced on 20 August.

Nada Abou Saab – Marketing Director for Shopping Malls (UAE, Oman & Bahrain), Majid Al Futtaim Properties, said, “The back-to-school season reminds us all of the importance of quality education. At Majid Al Futtaim, we hope to positively impact the people and communities that we serve. As learners look ahead to a new academic year, the launch of our Modesh Scholarship underlines our commitment to the community during this particularly challenging time for students and parents alike. We are pleased to offer this opportunity to our valued customers, and are grateful to our partner, DFRE, for their support on this valuable initiative.”

Alongside the possibility of earning a Modesh Scholarship, customers can also explore the full range of Majid Al Futtaim’s retail offering as they prepare for a return to the classroom. This back-to-school season, Majid al Futtaim malls will offer something for everyone — be it new items for a positive start to the school year, or games and creative art workshops at select malls to get the young ones in the educational spirit.

To ensure a safe shopping experience for all customers, Majid Al Futtaim shopping malls have put in place strict hygiene and sanitisation protocols, while adhering to the government’s social distancing mandates. As such, customers will be asked to wear masks and maintain a distance of two metres from others at all times. All Majid Al Futtaim malls are fully sanitised on a daily basis for the safest experience possible.
