Dubai: The Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment, MRHE, recently honored the sponsors and supporters of the 3rd Housing, Building Materials, Decoration & Engineering Consultancy Exhibition "DecoBuild 2019" which was held from November 6 – 9, in recognition of their efforts and contributions to the success of the event and the consolidation of its position as the most prominent event of its kind across the country and the region.

This came during a ceremony held at Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai in the presence of Eng. Mohammad Ahmad Borahima, Assistant CEO of Engineering Sector, MRHE, Mohammed Humaid Al Marri, Assistant Executive Director of the Financial Affairs and Institutional Support Sector, MRHE, Jassim Mohammed Al Shumaili , Assistant Executive Director of the the Housing Sector Sector, MRHE, and a number of senior public and private sector officials, representatives of sponsors and supporters, and media outlets.

Developing Citizens-Oriented Housing System

In his remarks at the ceremony, Mohammad Ahmad Borahima, On behalf of HE Sami Gargash, CEO of Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment, thanked and appreciated His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai for his unlimited support, stressing that the wise visions and directives of His Highness have always been the key to achieving the Establishment's success and goals.

While commending the efforts of the partners from public and private sectors, sponsors and supporters of DecoBuild 2019, Borahima underscored that this reflects our partners’ keenness and commitment to social responsibility values.

“Our partners’ initiatives have greatly contributed to the happiness of exhibitors and visitors to DecoBuild which aims to achieve one of the most important national and human priorities, namely, developing the citizens-oriented housing system, providing modern life requirements, and achieving welfare, in accordance with the UAE Vision 2021 and UAE Centennial 2017,” he noted.

Borahima further said: “We are gathered today to express gratitude and appreciation for your outstanding efforts to make this event successful and to reaffirm the importance of the joint work in line with the vise vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Such a vision which focuses on the significance of the joint efforts of all public and private entities and other concerned parties to enhance mutual partnership and cooperation, as well as to take actual and serious steps towards improving the quality of life of our citizens, through the implementation of innovative, diverse, and affordable housing solutions.”

The Importance of Concerted Efforts

Concluding his remarks, Borahima reiterated that the joint efforts of partners, sponsors, and supporters were conducive to the remarkable success of this year’s edition by attracting more exhibitors and visitors and achieving the sought-after goals, expressing his hope that this cooperation will continue in the coming editions to realize the visions and directives of the wise leadership in terms of providing “a House for Every Citizen”. 

The event was rounded off by Mohammed Humaid Al Marri honoring DecoBuild 2019 sponsors; Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, Sharjah Municipality, Dubai Municipality, Sharjah Housing Department and UAE Society of Engineers, and the supporters; Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, Sharjah Foundation to support pioneering Entrepreneurs (RUWAD), Misbar Communications, Khatwa Advertising Company, Elbait Metwahid management, Innovation Fund, and Neutron Events.

Also, a number of lecturers in the workshops held on the sidelines of DecoBuild 2019, exhibitors, and social media followers were honored.

Worth mentioning that the 3rd edition of DecoBuild has managed to attract 58 public and private entities. This is considered the largest edition ever since its inauguration in 2017, in addition to the remarkable turnout by citizens, residents, and from all over the world.
