Dubai: UAE’s largest preschool chain, British Orchard Nursery has collaborated with the Department of Finance to open a nursery at the DOF headquarters in His Highness the Ruler’s Court. The preschool aims to raise the happiness level among its employees and create a work-life balance for working mothers by bringing their little ones closer to their workplace, while providing the latter with premium nursery education.

Abdulrahman Saleh Al Saleh, DOF Director General, and Abdullah bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of the Dubai Government Human Resources Department, both cut the ceremonial ribbon, in the presence of Mohammed Hamad Al Shehhi, DOF Deputy Director General along with a number of top executives from the Department and British Orchard Nursery representatives.

The new nursery branch is equipped to look after infants as young as two months old and children up to four years. It provides education, nursery activities and solutions of academic understanding for all age groups keeping in view their respective milestones and goals.

Commenting on the occasion, Dr Vandana Gandhi, Founder and CEO of British Orchard Nursery chain said: “We would like to thank the UAE rulers for their support in fostering education in the country at every level. It is a privilege for us to be collaborating with government offices and we’re honoured and humbled by the trust that they have placed in us to provide the best possible Early Years education to the children in line with UAE vision 2021.

“Our aim is to provide mothers with peace of mind at work. This is particularly comforting for mothers who have infants since they can visit them every few hours. Women are an integral part of the UAE workforce and we need to celebrate and appreciate their input into making this country a force to reckon with," added Dr Gandhi.

Recipient of 25 national and international awards. British Orchard Nursery has been time and again recognized for its innovative and holistic approach to Early Years Education as well as women empowerment. The preschool has the distinction of being the only ISO quality, environment, health and safety certified nursery chain in the Middle East, with a large teacher training academy and UK centers. The preschool has raised the standard of the work place environment and is also sensitive to and looks after children with special needs.
