UAE, Dubai: Emirates Leisure Retail (ELR), renowned for delivering, owning and operating exciting dining concepts and brands, has officially opened Asian Street Kitchen at the world’s busiest international airport, Dubai International (DXB) in Terminal Three’s Concourse A.

The airside dining destination, made up of four street food and drink styles, will be serving up a selection of Asian inspired bites, breakfasts and main meals, as well as delicious desserts and refreshing drinks. With Double Fried Chicken, Ramen & Dumplings, Rice & Noodles and Tiger Street Den included in the casual dining spot, passengers will have a choice of the orient to feast on ahead of their flights.

Asian Street Kitchen has been designed around the Urban street-style of the far east. The outlet features an eclectic mix of street art, graffiti and pop art throughout with bold neon lights, bright posters and rustic table settings for a unique, authentic experience of Asian culture before passengers jet off on their travels.

The menus across the restaurant offers a range of tempting street-food-style bites, bowls and hearty feeds. Double Fried Chicken serves up the ultimate Seoul food with crispy chicken drumsticks, tenders, Baos and buns. Oodles of noodles and rice dishes will be available at the Noodles & Rice counter with speciality dishes including Pad Thai, Nasi Goreng, Singapore Noodles and Cantonese Fried Rice. Wok this way for steaming bowls of Japanese Ramen, Vietnamese Pho, Malaysian Laksa and dumplings at Ramen & Dumplings, then end on a sweet note with delicious desserts such as Japanese Cheesecake and Mochi ice cream.

Tiger Street Den at DXB is the first experiential concept store to open outside of Singapore. There, visitors will be able to uncage all that Singapore represents – from food and drinks, to fashion and design. In addition to cool food and even cooler brews, Tiger Street Den will also be the new home of live music, art and photography, created by talents recruited from the Tiger Roar Collective platform. The first live performance at Tiger Street Den will be on 6th June and feature a live art painting by Singaporean artist group, Tell Your Children. Adding to the experience, visitors who purchase Tiger will receive a branded T-shirt of a similar design for free.

As well as great food and drink, the dining concept also offers a variety of merchandise available to buy in store. With the choice of bold slogan t-shirts and brightly coloured branded wristbands, pens, bandanas and lanyards, diners can take away a quirky memento of their Asian Street Kitchen experience.

Commenting on the openings, Andrew J Day, CEO of ELR, said: “We are delighted to introduce Asian Street Kitchen exclusively to DXB as a global first concept. We’re confident that Asian Street Kitchen will be a much-loved addition to the airport dining offerings, and we hope passengers see this cool, vibrant hub as a must-visit destination to kick off their holiday in the best way possible.”

Eugene Barry, EVP Commercial at Dubai Airports, said: “ELR’s Asian Street Kitchen is a welcome new addition to our food and hospitality offering at DXB. Incorporating music, art, and a great menu, we predict that this will be a very popular outlet with travellers.”
