Qatar central bank says raises deposit rates to 2.5%

DUBAI  - Qatar raised its deposit rate by 25 basis points to 2.5 percent, the central bank said on Thursday.

Earlier on Wednesday, the U.S. Federal Reserve raised rates by 25 basis points.
