Several families evacuated from flooded homes in Oman

Muscat: A number of families have been evacuated after rainwater flooded their homes.

The National Committee for Emergency Management (NCEM) said in a statement: "As a result of heavy rains, the flow of wadis and the increase in the intensity of the rains, a number of families were evacuated from their homes in region of wadi (Awqad - AlLulu) to safe accommodation facilities and with the participation of competent authorities."
