Muscat: Rescue teams have conducted an operation to rescue many citizens who were stranded, surrounded by floodwater in the wilayat of Salalah, due to heavy rainfall in Dhofar governorate.
A statement issued online by the Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance (PACDA) said: "A number of people were rescued after being stranded in deep water in the southern Awqad region in the Wilayat of Salalah."
