The Kuwait health ministry on Tuesday reported 857 new cases of the covid-19 coronavirus, along with 617 recoveries.
Two deaths were also reported.
This takes the total reported cases in the country to 91,244, while recoveries stand at 81,654. The death tally has now risen to 548.
There are over 9,000 active cases in the country, of which 89 are in serious condition.
More than 5,000 new Covid-19 tests were conducted in the country, the ministry said, taking the total to over 653,000 tests.
