Bahrain yesterday recorded 510 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 690 recoveries and one fatality.

A 52-year-old Bahraini man died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the toll to 97.

The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 510 new cases, 284 were expatriate workers, 223 contacts of local cases and three travel-related.

It said that an additional 690 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 24,649.

The ministry added that of the 4,621 active cases, 53 are receiving treatment and 45 in critical condition. Bahrain has so far registered 29,367 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths.

The kingdom has also conducted 602,151 tests for Covid-19.
