Manama: A total of 108 new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases were registered in Bahrain yesterday.
Of these, 78 were expat workers, 20 came in contact with active cases, two returned from Iran and eight were unspecified.
This raises the total number of active cases in Bahrain to 1,112 – of which only two are critical, according to the Health Ministry’s webpage dedicated to Covid-19.
Meanwhile, seven people were also discharged raising the total to 762 while 86,732 tests were conducted.
