Muscat: Five expatriates were arrested in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate and violations were issued against others for not following the decisions of the Supreme Committee in charge to deal with COVID-19.

A statement issued online by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), said: “North Al Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command arrests five expatriates in Al Mudhaibi, accused of practicing tailoring activities.”

“The ROP issues a group of violations against individuals for not wearing masks while they are in public places, a violation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19, in this regard,” the statement added.

In Musandam Governorate, a batch of violations were issued against individuals for not wearing masks in public places and violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee in charge of dealing with COVID-19.
