UAE -   The total value of the non-oil trade between Dubai and Saudi Arabia amounted to AED 500 billion during the last ten years, according to the Dubai media office.

During the first half (H1) of 2020, the total value of the foreign trade between Dubai and Saudi Arabia reached AED 24 billion, including AED 4 billion of imports, AED 2.8 billion of exports, and AED 17.3 billion of re-exports.

The Director General of Dubai Customs, Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, said that the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) mutual recognition agreement between the UAE and Saudi Arabia will enable them to boost customs cooperation, improve the two-way trade, and decrease costs of importing and exporting.

Musabih noted: "The deep relations between the two countries exceed the concept of bilateral cooperation between two neighbouring countries, but has become a strategic partnership, in line with their historical ties supported by blood, legacy, and a common fate."
