The consumer price index (CPI) in Dubai decreased by 0.42 percent in February 2021 compared to January 2021, the Dubai Statistics Center tweeted.

Consumer prices in Dubai fell by 4.50 percent on an annual basis in February 2021 compared to same period in 2020.

While prices of miscellaneous goods and services increased by 2.11 percent in February, furnishing, household equipment and routine household maintanence went up by 0.02 percent compared to January 2021.

The consumer price index for categories such as health, education, clothing and footwere were seen stable.

However, the prices for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels contracted slightly by 0.77 percent in February. 

According to the data from the Dubai Statistics Centre, the prices of food and beverages as well as transportation decreased by 1.19 percent and 0.64 percent respectively in February 2021 compared to the previous month.
