ArabFinance: US-based Bechtel is expected to finalise the feasibility study of Egypt Aluminium (Egyptalum) rehabilitation by mid-2021, Ahram Online cited the Public Business Sector Minister Hisham Tawfik.

The Egyptian government aims to increase the company production to reach 250,000 tones annualy by replacement the old parts over two phases.

Earlier, Egyptalum announced that six entities are competing over the steel wheel rim manufacturing project for cars.

The company incurred a net loss of EGP 1.671 billion for the FY 2019/2020, against EGP 570.927 million posted in FY 2018/2019.

Egyptalum is an Egypt-based company that specializes in extruding aluminum profiles for architectural and industrial applications. The company undertakes the activities of aluminum billet casting, dies, extrusion, alloys, painting, and anodizing.
