Sharjah Municipality holds 'accreditation licences for home business owners' course

SHARJAH - Sharjah Municipality, SM, through the Department of Conformity Assessment and Health Education in the Public Health Sector and Central Laboratories, has announced the implementation of the first session of its kind in the field of food safety, which is accreditation licences for home business owners.

The two-day course was implemented remotely in cooperation with the strategic partner "TSI" for the Sharjah Food Safety Programme, as the municipality provided digital platforms that facilitate the performance of tasks and the continued provision of services, through which various meetings, training courses and workshops are held.

Thabit Salem Al Tarifi, Director-General of Sharjah Municipality, said that this course comes in implementation of the vision H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, by supporting the initiatives of youth and women that aim to activate their participation in economic work, and the role of female citizens working from home.
