JEDDAH — Offering relief to its customers, the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) announced that it would not discontinue its services due to nonpayment of the bill for a month, Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.

Assuring its subscribers of uninterrupted highest quality of services with its emergency teams working round the clock, the SEC said that it is prepared to deal with all situations arising out the coronavirus outbreak.

The company said that it is making all efforts to ensure the safety of its workers while continuing its services through Ministry of Energy’s crisis center. It also said that it is actively contributing to the national campaign to combat the spread of the coronavirus infection at different levels.

Ever since the outbreak of the pandemic, the SEC has taken a slew of precautionary measures that include closure of common facilities in the company such as restaurants, sport clubs and prayer areas.
