Kuwait Finance House-Bahrain unveils SmartPay card

MANAMA: Kuwait Finance House-Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) has announced the launch of a new Visa credit card called SmartPay.

SmartPay, a Sharia-compliant product, provides card holders with the option of scheduling their payments over 36 months depending on the monthly instalment plan they choose.

The card also includes extended warranty and purchase protection, as well as exclusive services in more than 25 airport lounges, free supplementary cards provided upon client request as well as free travel insurance and cash withdraw service.

“SmartPay is a way for KFH-Bahrain to meet customer demands and add a holistic convenience to cardholders by offering them a reliable way to manage their credit card payments,” said KFH-Bahrain executive manager and retail banking head Khalid Rafea.

“After every transaction, a text message (SMS) will be sent to the cardholder who will be able to choose the repayment period based on equal monthly instalments up to three years. This option will be available to cardholders with each transaction,” he added.

KFH-Bahrain credit cards also provide customer free air miles with their preferred airline.

In addition, the bank’s cardholders who invest in Libshara will automatically be enrolled in the segment draw for a chance to win cash prizes.
