Dubai Internet City (DIC), a leading technology community in the region, recently welcomed Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE)to its Innovation Hub, a 1.8-million-sq-ft space.

Located at the heart of DIC, the Innovation Hub is shaping a vibrant community for tech and creative enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, business professionals as well as local and global players to develop and grow.

The hub comprises commercial and collaborative spaces, and houses premium retailers and hotels and serves as a unique lifestyle and business destination. Testament to the growth and success of DIC as a key accelerator of innovation, digitalisation and growth, Innovation Hub is enabling DIC to further translate the Dubai Strategy for Innovation into action, helping the city achieve its vision to become one of the most future-ready places in the world.

Ammar Al Malik, managing director of Dubai internet City and Dubai Outsource City, said: “The Innovation Hub represents a natural next step for Dubai Internet City and builds on our successes over the past years in creating thriving business communities for local, regional and international organisations.

“Our strategic relationship with Hewlett Packard Enterprise has contributed significantly to the development of the industry in the region, and we look forward to further strengthening the sector through enhanced collaboration. The opening of new regional headquarters is both fitting and timely, helping us create an innovation landmark for the region.”

“Hewlett Packard Enterprise is expanding in the UAE by opening a new state-of-the-art Middle East headquarters office in Dubai Internet City in the innovation Hub,” said Fabio Fontana, vice president and managing director for Middle East at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

“The opening of the new office in Dubai is a tangible testament of HPE’s commitment to the Middle East and UAE. As a moral founder of the Silicon Valley and innovator at heart, HPE recognises the tremendous value of cooperation with the local vibrant innovation community to realise solutions that advance how people live and work.”
