Forum in Bahrain focus on AI and FinTech

MANAMA: Artificial Intelligence Society is holding its second annual conference and awards ceremony in Bahrain on January 28 under the patronage of Sustainable Energy Authority president Dr Abdulhussain Mirza.

Being held in partnership with Smart SMB Dubai, UAE at the Gulf Hotel conventions centre, the event will focus on Artificial Intelligence, FinTech and VAT, with more than 20 speakers sharing the latest in the world of technology and finance.

The conference is expected to attract more than 200 participants from various sectors. It will also recognise more than 30 individuals and companies in Bahrain with awards for their distinguished achievements in their categories.

Conference co-chairman Dr Jassim Haji said: “We are honoured to hold this unique conference and awards ceremony under the patronage of Dr Mirza, who has always been a pioneer in providing guidelines and supporting technology activities, specifically in Artificial Intelligence in the kingdom, which is being appreciated by professionals in the field.

“This event amongst others, will showcase Bahrain’s position as a main hub for Artificial Intelligence and FinTech in the region.

“Dr Mirza will inaugurate the conference with his speech, which will be followed by keynotes and panels discussing the latest in Artificial Intelligence, FinTech and VAT. The speakers include CFOs, CIOs, academies and experts from various sectors.
