El Batal Group for Housing and Development has begun construction on its Rock Capital 1 project in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), CEO Emad Doss has told Daily News Egypt.

The work includes the excavation and plain cement concrete phase, and is currently building the foundations.

Doss added that the delivery date for Rock Capital 1, which will receive a total of EGP 2bn in investments, is planned to take place within three years, towards the end of 2023.

El Batal Group will deliver Phase 1 of the first three compounds, namely Rock Eden, Rock Ville, and Rock Vera, by the end of this year, he noted.

He added that the three projects are a manifestation of the quest to create a breakthrough in the Egyptian market, with unprecedented levels of innovation, quality, and attention to details. This will, as a result, enable the company to provide its client with a fully-fledged experience in each of its projects.

“El Batal Group announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Namaa for Development and Real Estate Investment to manage and develop the after-sales services to ensure the project’s clients sustainability in the world-class services and amenities the company provides,” he said.

Doss said, “Rock Capital 1 stands out in the sector of administrative buildings due to its unsurpassed capacity, especially as its gross floor area of 9,000 sqm can accommodate up to 700 employees on each floor.”

The project consists of a two-level underground parking area, one ground floor, and seven upper floors. The complex’s total BUA is nearly 100,000 sqm of office spaces and amenities, complemented by 4,000 sqm of interconnected atria and terraced gardens, and 22,000 sqm of parking, to accommodate the needs of all its employees.
