Azizi Developments, a leading private developer, has awarded a lighting contract to DPA, a top-class lighting consulting firm based in the UAE.

Through this deal, Azizi aims to light up the unique designs of the building façades, highlighting the stone claddings and feature elements of each building at Riviera, its renowned waterfront lifestyle community project located in the heart of MBR City.

Its team, in collaboration with DPA, is now using the latest tools and techniques to implement direct-view luminaires for the main features, grazing to the frame soffits, and downlight for the fins and retail arcade to ensure consistency in aesthetics within the community that also matches the Meydan master development.

COO Afzaal Hussain said: "Collaborating with DPA adds a significant, noteworthy touch of class to the lighting elements at our flagship development Riviera, uplifting the elegance of the entire community and thereby further improving ROIs."

On completion, it will boast more than 16,000 residences spread across 71 mid-rise buildings, overlooking an extensive retail boulevard, a canal walk with artisan eateries and boutiques, and Les Jardins — a lush-green social space.

With its strategic location near the upcoming Meydan One Mall and the Meydan Racecourse, home of the Dubai World Cup as well as Dubai’s major business, leisure and retail hubs, Riviera is one of Azizi Developments’ most sought-after projects, stated Hussain.

Designed to introduce the French-Mediterranean lifestyle to Dubai, which is not merely about architectural art, but also about a certain ‘joie de vivre’ - a celebration of life and exultation of spirit - Riviera represents a new landmark that will add great value to the real estate landscape, he added.
