Abu Tartour Port in Safaga will be operated during Eid El Fitr holiday

Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry has issued instructions to operate Abu Tartour Port in Safaga during Eid El Fitr to export 50,000 tonnes of phosphate.

The trade and industry minister Neven Gamee was informed by one of the companies exporting phosphate that its business was suspended due to the closure of the port on the occasion of Eid El Fitr holiday, expressing concerns to incur great losses and pay fines due to the delay.

Hence, Gamee requested the executive arm of the Industrial and Mining Projects to operate Abu Tartour Port and end the shipping procedures.
