MANAMA: AJM Kooheji Group has launched mobile service vans for service and maintenance of marine products.

The initial service vehicles were flagged off by Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry under-secretary for agriculture and marine resources Dr Nabeel Abu Al Fateh and AJM Kooheji Group director Mohammed Kooheji in the presence of senior group officials.

The official launch was done at the Muharraq Fishing Port.

The mobile service units will cover fishing ports in Zallaq, Malkiya, Karzakan, Budaiya, Duraz, Janusan, Nawrana, Muharraq, Hidd, Amwaj Marina, Amwaj Floating City and Samaheej.

Speaking at the event, Mr Kooheji said, “We have started this initiative to extend a helping hand to the fishing community of Bahrain. There are lot of people who are dependent on fishing for their livelihood, with this initiative, we would be able to provide them faster and more convenient services onsite which in turn will save their time and make their lives easier.”

The AJM Kooheji Group service team also conducted a one-day special 3S campaign for the Muharraq Fishing Port which allowed several members to take advantage of the special rates and free checkup of outboard engines.
