AMSTERDAM - The Dutch government said on Friday it aimed to increase its capacity to import liquefied natural gas (LNG) by 25% by 2026, to a total of 30 billion cubic metres (bcm).

The Netherlands last year doubled its LNG import capacity to 24 bcm as it worked to end its dependence on imports of fossil fuels from Russia.
