Muscat: The Earthquake monitoring Center at Sultan Qaboos University recorded an earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale in the Arabian Sea at 7:24 am today.

EMC said: “The epicenter is about 319 km from Masirah Island, with a depth of 26 km.”
