Vietnam recorded 1,390 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, raising the national caseload to 11,418,894, the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) quoted the Ministry of Health as saying.
With 6,390 patients given the all clear on the day, the number of recoveries rose to 10,211,563.
"One death from COVID-19 was recorded in the past 24 hours. The total fatalities stand at 43,120," added VNA.
