Tesla CEO Elon Musk praised the "vitality and potential" of China's development on Wednesday in a meeting with the country's commerce minister, Beijing said.

Musk "praised the vitality and potential of China's development, expressed full confidence in the China market, and was willing to continue deepening mutually beneficial cooperation," the commerce ministry said in a readout of the meeting.
