Brazil's government debt as a share of gross domestic product increased to 75.5% in February from 75.1% the month before, central bank data showed on Friday.

The Brazilian public sector posted a primary deficit of 48.692 billion reais ($9.63 billion) for the month, while economists polled by Reuters expected a 48.048 billion reais deficit. ($1 = 5.0540 reais) (Reporting by Marcela Ayres; editing by Gabriel Araujo)
