Under the auspices of the Minister of Planning and Economic Development, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Ministry’s Rowad 2030 project and VictoryLink, a leading provider of integrated technological and digital solutions, to support startups and entrepreneurs through business clinics known as Rowad Clinics.

The MoU was signed by Ghada Khalil, Rowad 2030 Manager, and Haitham Saeed, Vice Executive President of VictoryLink.

The memorandum, which is valid for a year from the date its signing, comes within the framework of both parties’ belief in the importance of supporting and creating an encouraging environment for Egyptian start-ups and entrepreneurs, in line with Egypt’s vision for sustainable development for the year 2030.

The objectives of the memorandum mainly focus on enabling joint cooperation mechanisms between the two parties to provide integrated services that include providing technical support and various advisory and advisory services necessary for the growth of these emerging projects through Rowad Clinics.

Ghada Khalil expressed her happiness at signing the memorandum with VictoryLink as one of the project partners in the field of marketing, stressing the importance of business clinics and the services they provide, noting that the current goal is to increase the number of business clinics in different governorates and improve the services provided through it for entrepreneurs, as business clinics provide an appropriate environment supportive of entrepreneurship through experts specializing in various fields.

She added: “There is a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to enter unique and emerging sectors such as the energy, water and artificial intelligence sectors. We are proud to cooperate with the Rowad 2030 project through Rowad Clinics to provide the necessary support to empower Egyptian entrepreneurs and startup owners to ensure success and continuity factors,” Haitham Saeed, Executive Vice President of Victory added: “This partnership comes as a continuation of Victory Link’s efforts to support and empower the Egyptian community in various fields, especially the fields of technology, communication and investment.”

Under this agreement, the Rowad 2030 project is responsible for preparing project registration forms, studying advanced applications, arranging meetings between applicants and Victory Link, and finally carrying out comprehensive assessments of the program to ensure the quality of service provided and to achieve the desired benefit for the owners of advanced projects.

VictoryLink will be responsible for providing the necessary support for advanced projects by providing advisory and directive services and participating in technical opinion in studies related to supporting business sponsorship in Egypt by participating in holding and organizing workshops for entrepreneurs and projects, in a way that contributes to enhancing the knowledge and practical culture of those projects.

The Rowad 2030 project opened Rowad Clinics last June in the GrEEK Campus with the aim of providing technical and technological support in various fields, in addition to financial, legal and marketing advice to entrepreneurs and owners of startup companies to help them complete and sustain that business.

It is worth noting that the Rowad 2030 project is listed as one of the best practices within the United Nations programs around the world in achieving sustainable development, as the project achieved 9 goals of sustainable development.

The objectives of the project are to stimulate and enrich the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Egypt by developing an integrated system for entrepreneurship so that it becomes a basic pillar for implementing Egypt’s Vision 2030, which aims to make the Egyptian society by 2030 a creative, innovative and productive society for science, technology and knowledge. Integrated that ensures the development value of innovation and knowledge, and links knowledge applications and innovation outputs to national goals and challenges.
