New offerings expand selection for customers with conventional and specialized needs

Zamil Air Conditioners (ZAC), a business unit of Zamil Industrial and the leading international manufacturer of air conditioning systems in the Middle East, is pleased to announce the launch of two new series of Modular Condensing Units, as well as completion of the longest customized Chiller ever built in the company's 33-year history. These new product offerings are specifically designed to satisfy market demand for new HVAC solutions that provide maximum application flexibility and energy savings to the company's growing customer base.

The new CAX (60Hz)/CAL (50Hz) and CDX (60Hz)/CDL (50Hz) Series of air-cooled condensing units consists of several models ranging from 20 to 170 tons in cooling capacity.  They use engineering excellence to provide comfort in air conditioning and efficiency in industrial cooling, along with a superior combination of energy savings, performance, application flexibility, ease of service and maintenance and the ability to withstand extreme ambient temperatures. These units, suitable for rooftop or ground level installation, can be combined with a wide variety of evaporator coils and blower packages to provide quiet and dependable comfort.

ZAC assures the quality, safety and comfort of these units by a range of standard features such as UL listed electrical components and low noise condenser fans with insulated motors for quiet comfort.

The new series of modular units utilize the environmentally friendly HFC-134a refrigerant, a singular compound form with proven, highly efficient thermodynamic properties. There will be no phase out or replacement costs for the life of the equipment.

ZAC recently designed and built the longest ever chiller in the company's history, with a length of 17.5 meters and 540 tons of cooling capacity. The new Chiller (ASY 540) was custom built for Saudi Aramco and tested at 52 C degrees (126 F) ambient temperature.

The custom-built duplex air-cooled screw chiller consists of two combined modules and utilizes the environmentally friendly refrigerant R134a. The massive unit offers the ultimate combination of energy saving design and superior engineering features needed to fulfill the evolving requirements of specialized and heavy-duty industrial applications. It incorporates the newest advanced microprocessor controller to monitor analog and digital inputs and achieve precise control and protective functions of the unit, ensuring efficient and reliable operation at all times.

"We are delighted to announce the addition of these two new series of modular condensing units to the ZAC product lineup. They enhance our product range in this category and make our offerings more competitive over the existing series. The ASY540 chiller represents a milestone achievement in our ongoing efforts to provide specialized equipment for heavy industrial applications," says Osama Bunyan, Executive Vice President, ZAC.
