The UK-based chain YO! Sushi has opened its first outlet in the BurJuman centre in Dubai. The restaurant is fitted with the sushi conveyor belts and quirky service that made the concept such a success in Britain.
The dishes are all colour-coded according to price and range from Dhs8 to Dhs16. YO! Sushi has 160 tried and tested recipes, of which 60 are on the conveyor belt every day, ranging from sushi to sashimi, teriyaki, yakitori and gyoza, as well as salads and fresh fruit.
For February:
Banish the Monday blues: On Monday evenings (6pm to 11pm), you just pay one price for the sushi - the blue plate price (Dhs10).
So, whether you're taking the opportunity to try some premium sushi and sashimi at a special price, or are filling up on your favourites, YO! Sushi banishes the Monday blues for good!
(Applies to plates off the conveyor belt).
Lunch offer: From 12pm to 3pm every day, enjoy five plates of sushi off the conveyor belt – one of each colour – plus unlimited miso soup and unlimited soda for just Dhs45.
Closing time : Every plate from the conveyor belt is just Dhs6 for the last half-hour of opening (10.30 to 11pm Saturday to Tuesday nights, and 11.30pm to midnight Wednesday to Friday nights).
YO! Sushi has just launched a loyalty programme – ask in the restaurant for your free card.
YO! Sushi is located on the ground floor of BurJuman in Dubai, and it is open from 11am to 11pm Saturday to Tuesday, and 11am to midnight Wednesday to Friday.
