United Arab Emirates, 17 April 2011 - Yas Island Rotana & Centro Yas Island has appointed Eleni Tsolakou as Executive Assistant Manager and Leo Holli as Food & Beverage Director for the 2 hotels on the Island.

A Greek National, Eleni holds a master degree in Hospitality Management from the United Kingdom & a Bachelor degree in the Tourism Industry from Greece. After 9 years of service with Kempinski group in Europe, Africa, UAE and lately Egypt, Eleni decided to come back to the capital of the Emirates bringing an extensive experience in the operation field. She was part of the pre - opening team of Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi and familiar with the local market.

Eleni will be assisting the General Manager in the operation of both hotels on the Island. Commenting on her appointment, she said:  "I am proud to join one of the most dynamic and fastest growing brands in the Middle East and Africa region. I believe that Rotana's vision and strategy of establishing a well recognized brand which delivers consistent high quality standards, is a match with my personal passion for excellence and quality in hospitality."

Holding a diploma in Tourism management from Austria, Leo started his career at the age of 15 years. Prior joining Rotana, he worked with Hilton International in Australia, United Kingdom, Caribbean & Abu Dhabi gaining a wide knowledge in the Food & Beverage department. His first assignment with the company was at Villa, Rimal, Rihab Rotana back in 2008 as Director of Food & Beverage in charge of 3 properties, then moved to Towers Rotana on Sheikh Zayed Road in 2009. Commenting on his new role, Leo said: "I look forward to strengthening the dining experience in both hotels and take it up to the next level. I am happy to be part of the growing destination and excited to embark the new challenge."
